Phillip Beadles  

Phillip Beadles has many
talents. Among these are
printmaking, and volunteering at
The Upstage Gallery to help us
look good!

Phil's work is comprised of
block-print, lithograph, and his
specialty paste-ups. Paste-ups
are cut-paper and marquetry on
bristol board. He was  featured
at The Upstage Gallery in
September 2007 feature. .



Dolores’ work can be seen in several
major galleries including NMAI -
Smithsonian in New York and DC, as well
as the NordAmerika Native Museum in
Zurich, Switzerland. She was invited by
the NMAI in DC in June 2006 to be a
visiting artist and speak about her work.
Her work has been featured in several
publications including Southwest Art
Magazine. Prints of her “Indian Ponies”
can be found in the Pendleton Woolen
Mills Home catalog. Dolores has been
accepted into many top Native
shows/markets and consistently wins
ribbons and awards
.
Arilyn

Ellie Arilyn is a musical artist.
She sings beautifully while
Kenny Smith, plays guitar.
Together they play both folk
and rock songs which are
sweet to hear.

Arilyn performs at The Upstage
on select First Fridays only, so
look for her in our
events page.
Jill Ensley

Jill Ensley is a
photographer, and a
traveller.

Her art touches cultural
roots in  Southern USA,
and urban Asian settings.
Jill was featured at The
Upstage Gallery in June
2007 .
Paul Kopp  

Paul  Kopp sponsors the Upstage Gallery Website at
Koppdirect.com.Also, he volunteers his time to support The
Jayhawk State Theatre of Kansas through The Upstage
Gallery.

Paul Kopp paints in vibrant colors, with acrylics and pen.
His landscape lean toward the surreal, and abstract.  His
figures are expressive and bright.
Lance M. Johnson

Lance M. Johnson is The Upstage
Gallery director

Lance's art varies from the realistic to
abstract. The largest body of his
artwork is charcoal drawing on paper.
Lance teaches dry media skills on
Tuesday nights from  
7:00-9:00 PM.
infectone Records

Dan Zimmerman, Infectone sound engineer
has remixed our audio tour of the Jayhawk
for The Upstage Gallery.
Mark Lakin

Mark teaches airbrush technique
at The Upstage on Tuesday
nights from 7:00-9:00 PM.

Mark will deck the Upstage
Gallery with images from his
collection in our May 2008
Illustrators Spectacular.  
Joseph Murray

Joe paints in abstract expressionist style. His
work stimulates the viewer, evoking images of
beauty.

Presently, he volunteers at The Upstage
Gallery. Joe paints new artworks while
volunteering.
Evan Ruff

Evan has displayed his artwork
at The Upstage since the grand
opening in February 2007.

His medium of choice is chalk
pastel on paper.

Evan feels that a home without
music and art is just an empty
house.
Sandra McCann

Sandra is The Upstage Gallery
featured artist for the month of
March, 2008.

Her installations and paintings
are pure refined texture. She
works in a variety of media,
with an eye for presentation.
Raynbow Thug

Lara Ballard, AKA: Raynbow
Thug  performs at the Upstage
Gallery semi-annually. Sign up

Lara is the Midwest Second
Alternate Drag King for 2007.
Richard Nelson

Richard's goal is to see and
share what we so often pass
by. His camera is always ready
to capture artistic images.

Richard filled The Upstage with
pictures for our grand opening,
and he remains the most
prolific photographer at this
gallery.
Mary Robinson
Mary's photography is larely
based on landscapes, and
aerial views. She strives to find
beautiful compositions.
